The Black Swan Hotel is pleased to announce their own concept of The Ultimate Racing Holiday”, located in Middleham, the northern heart of horse racing, we are within easy reach of Thirsk, Ripon, Catterick, Sedgefield, Redcar, Wetherby and York racecourses. All you have to do is come and enjoy yourselves, while we make all the arrangements; we are able to tailor any meetings to your own requirements.
All prices include accommodation with full English breakfast, a three course evening dinner or lunch (depending on the package), entry tickets and transport to and from your chosen venue. Also included is a personal guided tour around some of the fifteen racing stables along with an instructional viewing of some of the 600+ horses in training on the Middleham moor gallops.
The standard package starts from £175 per person, depending on whether you wish to stay in a double room or one of our four poster bedrooms (based on two people sharing), your choice of race meeting, stand ticket. York, Wetherby and Redcar racecourses are about a 55 minute drive, Ripon, Catterick and Thirsk about 30 minutes.
An optional visit to Theakston’s Brewery or The Black Sheep Brewery can also be arranged.
